The goal of the design was to achieve territoriality in the midst of this surrounding environment. There is an inner courtyard on the first basement floor (B1) level, surrounded by residential buildings. This inner courtyard establishes a semi-private intermediate space between the public space outside the site and the private space of the residences. When entering the site from the outside and as soon as the entrance is passed, greenery of the inner courtyard stretching below can be seen. Cross a bridge and move between the apartment buildings while being conscious of this sea of green. When the entrance door is opened from the enclosed corridor, once again the greenery of the inner courtyard from the wide front door opening fills the view. This inner courtyard is part of the common area. At the same time, the design ensures that its greenery, light and space can also be enjoyed along the route leading to the entrance and from inside the residences. This provides the feeling that the entire building including the inner courtyard is one's own living space.
