The underground hall has a skylight in which the undulations of the water are reflected. The approach over the water surface creates the mood for entry into the tearoom. Using this special space, the aim was to achieve a space that utilized the image of water to appeal to the latent inherent subconscious of the Raku Kichizaemon-Kan.
