The requirements from the building owner were for a landmark building design utilizing the location in which the entire site can be easily seen from the surrounding roads. For this, the single keyword “ripple = landscape formed by the wind” was the response to these two needs. Windmills (vertical axis rotating wind power generators) in the corporate identity color which allow the wind to be visualized and which act as an eco-symbol function not only as eye-stoppers from the surroundings, but also play a role as devices for rectifying the direction of the wind. The roof and external walls were processed radially to give a smooth continuity, with a stripe motif replacing the flow of the wind and integrated with the approach space, to create a seamless landscape.
