小さな島の研修所A Study and Training House on a Small Island自然に溶け込み自然を際立たせる建築A building that melts into nature, and that makes nature stand out玄海灘の小島に立地する企業の研修所である。自然と建築の豊かな関係の構築をテーマとした。自然に溶け込み、同時に自然のさまざまな事象を際立たせる建築を目指した。海に向かう斜面の敷地形状に従って諸室を配置し、屋根は斜面と平行に緩やかな勾配で高さを抑え、周辺環境になじませた。その結果、直線から曲線へと連続してゆるやかにつながる、流れるような形状となった。また、建築の地盤をつくるときに僅かに掘り起こした土は環境を配慮して敷地内で再生すべく、この流れるような形状の建築と平行な小さな丘とし、一体的なランドスケープを形成した。このような操作により構築された空間は自然と融合したフィルターとなり、自然豊かな風景が新たに際立ちつつ、人の動きにあわせて展開していく。(川建 康)This is a company training house located on a small island in Genkai Nada. The theme was constructing a rich relationship between nature and the building. The aim was for a building that blends in with nature, and at the same time to make various phenomena in nature stand out. The various rooms were arranged in accordance with the shape of the sloping site facing the sea. The roof was given a gentle slope parallel with the ground to minimize the height, in order to fit into the surrounding environment. As a result, the shape was like a flow that continuously and gently connected from a straight line to a curved line. Also, in consideration of the environment, the small amount of soil excavated for the foundations of the building was recycled within the site to form a small mound parallel to the flowing shape of the building, giving an integrated landscape. As a result of this type of operation, the space created was a filter integrated with nature, so that the rich natural landscape stands out even more, while unfolding in accordance with peoples' movements.
