797776621123456789N123456789123456789123456789オムロン京都センタービル 啓真館Omron Kyoto Center Building Keishinkan多様な用途をつつむ、ゆるやかな“かたち”A loose “shape” enclosing diverse uses計画地は、西側を通る油小路通に面して昔からの町家や神社、緑地などがあり、大規模高密度化する市街地の中で風の通り抜ける「谷間」のようなロケーションとなっている。敷地一杯にボリュームを建てるのではなく、この「緑の谷間」の魅力を生かすような“かたち”はどのようなものかを考えた。各用途に必要な面積を機能に従って順番に積層し、それらを透明なガラスで包み込むことで建物の「体積」を最小化している。また、通路を確保する必要があった建物の東側は、人をよけるように壁の傾斜を大きくすることにより、わずかに左右対照でない、ゆるやかな“かたち”が生まれている。(原田 哲夫)The west side of the site faces Abura No Koji, where in the past there were tradesmen’ houses, Shinto Shrines, green areas, etc., and the site is located in a large scale high density urban area through which the wind blows as in a valley. The entire volume of the site was not built on, but a “shape” was chosen so that the charm of the “green valley” could be utilized. The volume of the building was minimized by stacking the necessary area for each use in order according to function, and then enclosing them in transparent glass. Also, on the east side of the building there was a need to maintain a passageway, so the slope of the wall was increased to avoid people, so the building is not symmetrical left to right, creating a loose “shape”.
