南柏駅駅前広場N32321三上ビルMikami Buildingランダムな開口を持つ外部ヴォイドExternal void having random aperturesJR南柏駅前に残された角地に建つテナントビルである。周囲に増殖した商業施設系ファサードの パッチワーク群と協調しつつ駅正面としての象徴性を併せ持つという、周辺環境との絶妙なバランスを要求された。正面の石壁には、このパッチワーク群を抽象化したランダムな開口を レイアウトし、自由で斬新なファサードを創出 した。石壁の内側の外部ヴォイドは西日の遮蔽とプライバシー制御の効果を持つとともに、容積 調整によって建物高さを周囲に揃えることを可能 とした。構造壁としての石壁はバルコニースラブによって貸室側のスラブと一体化され、無柱整形のテナントスペースが実現した。(白石 充史)This is a tenant building built on the remaining corner in front of the JR Minami Kashiwa Station. A delicate balance with the surrounding environment was required, in order to both harmonize with the patchwork of facades of the commercial facilities that have proliferated in the vicinity, and to have symbolism appropriate as the front of the station. A free and novel façade was created in which random apertures, that symbolized this patchwork, were arranged in the stone wall of the front. The external void on the inside of the stone wall has the effect of both shielding the sun in the west and controlling privacy, and by adjusting the capacity it was possible to align the building height with the surroundings. The structural stone wall was integrated with the slab on the rental room side by the balcony slab, to achieve well formed tenant space without columns.
