12111212111212111221112大阪府南警察署難波3丁目交通警察官詰所Traffic Police Box at Nambaモザイクタイルと鏡面ステンレスの家型交番Mosaic tile and mirror surface stainless steel house style police box大阪難波の東宝南街ビル新築に伴って実施された、交通警察官詰所の移転計画である。建物ボリュームや開口形状を典型的家型とする、にもかかわらず屋根壁の区別なく黒モザイクタイル貼の一体的マッスとする、にもかかわらず開口部の鏡面ステンレスが街路のパースペクティヴを内包する・・・といった「意味の逆接」の反復によって、デザインを成立させることを意図している。(米正 太郎)This was a project to move the traffic police box, carried out in conjunction with the construction of the Toho Nangai Building in Namba, Osaka. The building volume and shape of the openings are the same as for a typical house. However, the roof and walls are all covered without distinction with black mosaic tiles. Nonetheless the mirror surface stainless steel of the openings encompasses the perspective of the streets . . . and the design is achieved with this repeated reversal of meaning.
