台湾高雄市における芸術文化施設の計画である。敷地は市の東端に位置した旧兵舎跡地であり、過去と未来、自然と文化を融合した芸術公園と位置付けられている。ネットワークと融合をテーマとして、保存樹木を結んだ網格子 (ウェッブ)=「自然」と既存建築の痕跡をトレースした直行座標(グリッド)=「歴史」を重層することで公園のマスタープランの骨格を構成した。樹林間の中心線で構成されるボロノイ図形は、人の流れを誘導しプロムナードへと変換されると共に、保存樹を中心に新たな森が形成される。一方、かつての街路は、水路へと変換され、新たな水景を形成する。このウェッブとグリッドの重層した新たな地形の上に布置される建築は、このランドスケープの一部として立ち現れ、「自然」に溶けた量塊でありたいと考えた。そこで、ボロノイ図形のプロムthis new topography of overlapping web and grid will be integrated into the natural landscape. The promenade in the Voronoi diagram will lead into the structures as is,functioning as an inner promenade connecting the four halls. The fourhalls are expressed as irregular shapes derived from their acoustic properties. The inner promenade, which also serves as a void between these four halls, has a spring-like structure based on the Voronoi diagram that supports the walls of the halls. Moreover, the outer walls will be formed of metal panels reflecting nature softly and the circumference will be enclosed by a band of greenery so the green is gently reflected and the structures become fused into the landscape. The design was promoted based on the theme of fusing networks. The framework for a master plan was created by overlapping the web linking the preserved trees (="nature") and the direct coordinates (grid) tracing the existing architecture (="history"). The Voronoi diagram composed of the center lines between the trees will guide the flow of people and convert the route into a promenade, and a new forest will also be formed centering on the existing trees. Meanwhile, the old road will be converted into a waterway, forming a new water landscape.
