123465N5364追手門学院大学 将軍山会館Otemon Gakuin University Syogunyama-kaikan五感を刺激する 内外の回遊性"Strolling" type interior - exterior design stimulates all five senses大学の記念事業として計画された歴史展示資料館である。カフェや会議室が併設され、卒業生と在学生の交流の場となることが望まれた。周囲の自然を取り込み、通りを歩く人を自然と建物の中へ導きいれるように、敷地の奥に中庭を設けた。中庭は、全開する開放的なガラススクリーンにより、カフェやテラスと一続きの空間となり、中庭を取り囲む壁は風景を切り取り、周囲の緑地へと連続していく。 「奥」へとつながる空間構成と回遊性により、建物全体がキャンパスの一部となり、空間の広がりを演出している。中庭の水盤から流れ落ちる水の音は、静寂をもたらし、聴覚を研ぎ澄ます。ざらついたテクスチャの石の素材感や木々の香りが、触覚や嗅覚をもやわらかく刺激し、記憶のなかの風景を呼び覚ます。(久武 正明)This museum for historical exhibits was planned as a commemorative project for the university. The museum includes a café and conference room to provide places for interchange between currently enrolled students and graduates. The surrounding greenery has been incorporated into the design, and an inner courtyard has been provided in the interior of the site to naturally encourage passers-by to enter the building. Due to the use of open glass screens to cover the entire area, the inner courtyard forms a continuous space with the cafe and terrace, while the walls enclosing the inner courtyard cut off the view and establish continuity with the surrounding greenery. As a result of the spatial configuration that is linked with the interior and the strolling type design, the building as a whole is made to form one part of the campus, emphasizing the spatial expanse. The sound of the water that flows down from the basin in the inner courtyard provides serenity and heightens auditory sensations. Rough textured stone and the scent of wood gently stimulate the senses of touch and smell as well, awakening memories of scenic vistas glimpsed in the past.
