e‐生活情報センター「デザインの間」e-Lifestyle Information Center "Design no Ma"環境指向を形態に示すプログラムとデザインProgram and design that express concern for the environment中部電力が賛同企業80社と生活デザインを発信する拠点。環境指向・配慮の可視化をテーマに、屋根を浮かしたフォルムで特徴付けた。敷地は坂の下のターミナル駅の起点、外観4周+屋根面がファサードとなっている。自然素材を活かした木と緑とガラスの建築は、赤松集成材ルーバーで建物を覆い、大屋根から足元のサインまで「一筆書きの緑」で東山公園まで続く街並みまでランドスケープを繋げた。屋根は緑化と軒天木ルーバーを同時に見せることを意図して双曲放物曲板(HPシェル)とした。イベントや情報提供を行いコンシェルジェが賛同企業へお客様をつなげる「Real(現実)世界におけるPortalサイト」として空間を構築。内部は木の優しい空間に包まれており密度やスケールを変えながら多彩な空間を「間」で仕切った。(長谷川 寛)This is the center for lifestyle design by the Chubu Electric Power Company and its 80 associated companies. A floating roof was used to give visual expression to a concern for and orientation toward environmental awareness. The site was the origin for the terminal station at the bottom of a hill. The façade consists of four exterior peripheries plus the roof surface. The architectural design used materials with a natural feel (wood, greenery and glass) and the building was enclosed by red pine laminate louvers. With a single line of greenery stretching from the dome to the signs at foot level, the landscape was linked to the cityscape that extends to Higashiyama Park. The roof was made a hyperbolic parabola (HP) shell to enable both greenery and soffit wood louvers to be viewed simultaneously. The space was created to provide a "real world portal site" in which the concierge can connect customers to associated companies through special events and the provision of information. The interior is enclosed in a relaxing wooden space, partitioned into rooms of varying degrees of substance and scale.
