N田園調布雙葉学園小学校 屋外トイレDenenchofu Futaba Gakuen Elementary School Play Ground Toilet「もの」としての建築ArchiFurnitureモダニズムスタイルの学校環境に「調度」のように置かれた建築。環境を大きく変えてしまうのではなく、環境の中に家具や調度を置くような建築の在り様に挑戦している。屋根・壁の区分のない彫塑的な家型ボリュームに、棟線・妻壁の傾斜によるミニマムな操作を加え、小学生に親しみやすい動きのある「もの」としての建築を実現した。4つのトイレブースと10つの洗面を最小限に構成した平面形の中に、小学生の成長に合わせたような高さの異なるトイレの扉、ランダムに配置した色ガラスブロック、スリット天窓からの乱反射する光、特注コテ押えの半球形セパ穴への配色等により、小学生にとっての小さな世界を実現している。(藤田 純也)"Archifurniture" is architecture provided as furnishings for a modernistic school environment. In this style of architecture, no major changes are made to the environment; furniture and furnishings are simply placed within that environment. A sculpture-like, house-shaped building with no clear demarcations between the roof and walls was altered minimally by tilting the ridge lines and gable walls in order to achieve an active piece of "archifurniture" that would appeal to elementary schoolchildren. Within a planar shape that houses four toilet booths and ten sinks in the smallest possible area, bathroom doors of various heights were provided, designed to accommodate the growth of elementary schoolchildren. Features such as the diffuse refl ected light from randomly placed blocks of colored glass and slit skylights, and the color balance of the semispherical cone nut holes created by means of special-order troweling protection, help to provide the elementary schoolchildren with a little world all their own.
