123456N新フランス大使館New French Embassy森のオフィスAn office in the woods当社を含む5社連合(Mintakコンソーシアム)の提案が事業コンペで選ばれ、実施に至ったフランス大使館事務所棟およびビザ棟の建替えプロジェクトである。敷地内に残る旧尾張徳川家から引き継いだ約7,700坪の森を最大の資産として捉え、森の伐採が最小限となるよう建物を敷地周辺に配置し、鋭く細く森に切り込むような形状となっている。北面のガラスファサードは森を抱くような緩やかなアールとし、オフィス空間が森と一体となる快適なワークスペースを実現した。ウッドデッキテラスにたたずむと、あたかも森に抱かれたような安らぎを感じることができる。また、光･風の自然エネルギーの積極的な利用を含め様々な省エネルギー技術を建築・ランドスケープの随所に導入し、CASBEE Sクラス(BEE値=4.1)の低環境負荷建築を実現している。(吉本 大史)The new French Embassy was built based on a proposal by the Mintak Consortium of five companies that included Takenaka Corporation. The project involved the construction of a French Embassy office building and the reconstruction of the visa building. Under this proposal, the 25,400 square meters of woodland on the site that formerly belonged to the Owari Tokugawa family was seen as the site's greatest asset, and the buildings were placed on the periphery of the site, interfacing with the woods precisely so as to minimize the cutting of trees. The glass façade on the north side curves gently to enclose the woods, making the office section a pleasant workspace that is integrated with the greenery. Standing on the wood deck terrace, you receive a peaceful feeling of being enveloped by the forest. Various energy-saving technologies have been introduced everywhere in the building and landscaping, including the active use of the natural energy of light and breezes. The result is a building that achieves the CASBEE S Class (BEE value = 4.1) for low environmental load architecture.
