1234556NアルプスビルディングALPS Building「環境共生」「地域・近隣共生」Harmony with the environment and the surrounding area電子部品メーカーの本社ビルである。創業の地での建替えに際して「環境共生」「地域･近隣共生」に配慮した建築であることが求められた。南北約160メートルの細長い三角形状の敷地に対し、住宅街に面した西側外壁を雁行形状とすることで、南からの卓越風を効果的にオフィススペースに取り込み、東面の柱部に設けた開口部から幹線道路側へ排出する自然換気システムを設けている。雁行形状は西側近隣に対して適切な離隔をとり、道路拡幅、歩道整備、緑化とともに住宅地の景観形成や安全性の向上にも寄与している。(栗田 献)This head office building for a major electronic component manufacturer was reconstructed on the location where the company was originally founded. The company specified that it wanted a building that was in harmony with both the environment and the surrounding area. On the long, narrow triangular site, which measures approximately 160 meters north to south, a staggered "flying-geese" layout was used for the outer walls on the west side facing a residential area. This made it possible to create a natural ventilation system, in which the prevailing winds from the south are effectively brought into the office space, with the air being discharged on the main road side through apertures placed on the east side columns. The "flying-geese" layout sets the building apart sufficiently from the residential area on the west, enabling road widening, sidewalk construction and greening and helping to improve the safety and scenic beauty of the residential area.
