くらすわCLASUWA「信州と四季を楽しむ」を提供する店舗空間A store environment in which to enjoy the seasons in Shinshu (Nagano Prefecture)地元信州の自然の恵みを商品やイベントを通じて提案し、「心と体の健康支援」と「健康的な社会づくり」に寄与することを目指した生活提案型店舗である。「四季を楽しむ」を建築によって実現するため、霧が峰から諏訪湖へと流れ込む地勢を視覚化した大階段「四季舞台」を施設中心軸に配置し、建築が切りとる風景とそこで行われるイベントを楽しむ場を形成した。地産地集マーケットの壁は地元産ナラ材とくらすわ箪笥で構成され、地域性を表現する店舗空間を展開した。寒冷地ながらLow-E複層ガラスを用いた積極的な採光や、吹き抜けを利用した中間期通風システムを 採用し、四季の変化を感じられる店舗空間を 目指した。(関谷 和則)The aim of this store is to promote lifestyles that are designed to encourage physical and emotional well-being and create a healthy society, through products and events that feature the natural bounties of the Shinshu region. To create a store that enables customers to enjoy the four seasons, the design centers on the grand staircase known as the "Shikibutai (Four Seasons Stage)," which is a visual representation of the topography from Kirigamine to Lake Suwa. The result is an environment in which customers can enjoy snapshots of local scenery and the various special events that are held there. The walls are made of locally produced Japanese oak and Clasuwa tansu (chests), and they serve as a market that offers locally produced goods for local consumption, while at the same time creating a shop environment that expresses the attributes of the region. Due to the cold climate of the region, Low-E double-insulating glass has been actively used to admit as much sunlight as possible, and a natural interim season ventilation system that makes use of the high ceiling is employed, enabling customers to sense the changes in the season.
