大小変形率18276354壁内の構造ボイドを利用した排気口Exhaust ports utilizing structural voids in the wall熱溜りHeat accumulation zone空調ピットAir conditioning pit無垢木床の下に敷設した床暖房Floor heating system installed under natural wood floor椅子をチャンバーとして利用した床吹出し空調Underfloor air-conditioning system with chairs used as air chambers換気開口Vent換気開口Vent換気開口(排煙併用)Vent (doubles as smoke vent)換気スリットVentilation slitsペアガラスとステンドグラスの三重ガラスTriple-glass (double-wall glassand stained glass)音響反射板Sound reflecting board壁内蔵スピーカーWall-hidden speaker聖堂ChapelN聖母病院聖堂Seibo Hospital Chapel多機能な折れ屋根折れ壁構造の聖堂Chapel with multifunctional folded roof and folded wall construction聖母病院敷地内で50年来愛されて来た聖堂の建替である。東側に既存病院、西側崖下に住宅地という敷地条件の下、西側が高い片流れの形態と既存のステンドグラスを再利用した開口部により西日を活かし、旧聖堂がもつ黄金色の空気感を再現した。新しく考案した折れ屋根・折れ壁構造により柱・梁の無い大空間とシンボリックな外観を実現した。内観は折れ屋根の形状を直接顕わし、天井の光と影が印象的な祈りの空間を創出。折れ壁内の構造ボイドは、上部の熱気を夏は排気、冬は再利用する空調ダクトとして利用。床の空調吹き出し口上の長椅子にスリット状吹き出し口を設け、身体領域を重点的に空調するなど、建築・構造・設備から椅子まで融合させたシステムとした。(伊藤 由紀子)This was the reconstruction of a beloved chapel that had stood for 50 years on the grounds of Seibo Hospital. To the east of the site was the existing hospital, and to the west was a cliff and a residential area below. Under these site conditions, a high slanting shape on the west side and apertures that reused the existing stained glass windows were provided to utilize the western sun in order to recreate the golden atmosphere of the former chapel. A newly devised folded roof and folded wall structure was employed to achieve a large space with no columns or beams housing a symbolic exterior. The outer shape of the folded roof was expressed directly in the interior, and the light and shadows on the ceiling create an impressive environment for prayer. The structural voids inside the folded wall are used as air conditioning ducts that discharge the hot air at the top in summer and re-use it in winter. The pews placed on the air conditioning vents in the floor are provided with slit-type vent holes to concentrate the air conditioning in the area where people are present. In this way, the ventilation system integrates all aspects of the structure, from the architecture and construction to the equipment and even the pews.
