145466233N塩野義製薬 医薬研究センター SPRC4Shionogi Pharmaceutical Reseach Center 4知的創造性を高める環境配慮型研究所Environmentally conscious research institute designed to heighten intellectual creativity大阪市北部を流れる神崎川と阪神高速道路に隣接する塩野義製薬医薬研究センターは、分散した拠点の集約化による研究効率の向上と新薬開発サイクルの短期化を狙い計画された医薬研究施設である。敷地における最大平面最小断面の計画とし、実験室にこもりがちな研究者が必然的に出会う確率を高め、自然に執務ゾーンでコミュニケーションを図れるよう、施設の中心に魅力あるガレリア(吹抜けを有する執務ゾーン)を配置した。また、外観を特徴づけるアルミルーバーによるトリプルスキンをはじめとする様々な環境技術(地熱利用冷温輻射パネル空調・排熱回収システム等)を採用し、研究所に求められる知的創造性の向上と社会的に求められる環境性能の両立を目指した。(小幡 剛也)The Shionogi Pharmaceutical Research Center, located on a site adjacent to the Hanshin Expressway and the Kanzaki River that flows through northern Osaka, is a pharmaceutical research facility designed to consolidate variously located research centers in one location in order to improve research efficiency and shorten the new pharmaceutical development cycle. The plan at the site maximizes the plane dimensions and minimizes the section dimensions to increase the likelihood that researchers, who tend to hole up in their laboratories, would inevitably encounter one another and engage in communication naturally in the work zone. To this end, an attractive galleria (a work zone with a high roof) was placed in the center of the facility. A variety of environmental technologies were also incorporated into the design, including the "triple skin" provide by aluminum louvers that create a distinctive outer appearance, and a cold radiation panel air conditioning and waste heat recovery system that uses geothermal heat. The new facility aims for a balance between the increased intellectual creativity needed for the research center and the environmental performance needed for society.
