In order to obtain both clarity of speech and richly reverberating organ sounds, the whole chapel was created as a large musical instrument that produces echoes in space. The daily hustle and bustle is transformed by approaching the chapel along a serene corridor where the sound of water can be heard, enabling tranquil worship.
