The building is linked from the forecourt with a gentle circular arc approach, with the curved road, the resistance of the sloping road, and the change in the ceiling height gradually raising the psychological feeling of distance and tension. Local materials are used, such as the Koga stone fence, the Owase hinoki eaves soffit, the washed finish on the concrete using aggregates from the Inabe River, the rain falling from the eaves onto Komono stone, and natural light and wind have been incorporated into the design.
