Na.上智大学目白聖母キャンパス1号館b.聖母病院本館・新棟 (2004年3月竣工)c.聖母病院聖堂 (2010年5月竣工)旧聖母大学第一校舎の建替計画である。2011年の上智学院と聖母学園の合併により、上智大学目白聖母キャンパス総合人間科学部看護学科の機能が新築された。病院、聖堂や既存校舎との調和を図り、群として街並みを創出するとともに、地域との交流の場を核に据えた計画としている。既存2号館との間に前庭を設け、そこから連続する内部は、自然採光・自然換気を促す2つの吹抜を軸とした空間とし、教職員や学生が光や風、看護教育の歴史を感じながら触れ合い、学習するスペースを創り出した。(宮本 有祐)上智大学目白聖母キャンパス1号館Sophia University Mejiro Seibo Campus Bldg. The merger in 2011 of Sofia University and Seibo Nursing School necessitated the new construction of facilities for the Nursing Program in the Integrated Human Studies Department at the Sofia University Mejiro Seibo Campus. The design aims to achieve harmony for the hospital, chapel and the existing university building and create a suitable streetscape for this group of buildings, while at the same time creating a nucleus for interchange with the local community. A front courtyard was provided between this building and the existing Building No. 2, and the continuous structure that stretches from that point centers on two high ceilings that admit natural lighting and ventilation. The resulting environment is open to light and breezes, in which faculty and students can interact with one another while getting a sense of the history of nursing education.
