Configured from 3-layer boxes clad with sandstone and 4-layer boxes with fair-face concrete lined side by side, the sense of volume of the building as a whole is reduced, and by juxtaposing materials with close color tones, the feeling of texture of the materials is brought out. In the structure, columns are provided at 10 m per span in the short direction and at 3.2 m intervals in the long direction, so the size of the beams in the long direction could be reduced and integrated with the slab. Spaces with an open and rhythmical feeling were produced by housing the air conditioning equipment within the wall surfaces, using ceiling cloth with a sound absorption function to surround the services lines, and cutting the space between the beams and columns with full height slit windows.
