By arranging two atrium spaces (the first case of adoption of Moen-Wood® in a school building) to suit the slope of the site, an open area that links the surrounding environment into the vertical scheme was created. The aim was to produce a school building where the students can keenly learn through encounters with people, knowledge, and the environment, through diverse multi-faceted 3-dimensional spaces that are open to the outside.
