Topic30Topicシンガポール都心部において「森の再生」、「呼吸する建築」をつくりたいという建築家 伊東豊雄氏のコンセプトを具現化した環境配慮型超高層オフィスビルである。基準階バルコニーに植樹帯を設け、14階と26階には4層吹き抜けのSky Terraceを設けた。外装植栽による緑陰効果が得られ、柔かな緑の拡散光が室内を明るくする｢Green Facade｣と、都市の眺望を最大化する｢Urban Facade｣を組み合わせたSemi-Double Curtain Wallを採用することで日射遮蔽効果を高め、自然エネルギーを最大限に利用しつつ機能とデザインの調和を追及した。地上200mの屋上に設置されたWind funnelにより卓越風の誘引力を利用して取り込まれた上空の清涼空気は、コア中央部のCool Voidを通過して熱回収され各階オフィスに供給される。(岸田 文明＋栗田 実)This environmentally conscious skyscraper office building is the embodiment of the concept of architect Toyou Ito, who wanted to build a “Vertical Landscape” and “Breathing Architecture” in the center of Singapore. The balconies on standard floors have been provided with planting zones, and 4-story-high Sky Terraces have been placed on the 14th and 26th floors. The exterior greenery provides leafy shade, and this “Green Facade” brightens the room interiors with soft light filtering through the foliage. To this is added an “Urban Facade” created by semi-double curtain walls that maximize the view of the city and improve sunlight shade effectiveness. These innovations use natural energies to the fullest and provide a balance between design and function. The Wind Funnel placed on the roof 200 meters above the ground uses the force of attraction of the prevailing winds to cause the cool air above to pass through the Cool Void in the central core in order to recover heat and provide this heat to the offices on each floor.
