In the Edo era there were many mansions of the direct retainers of the Shogun living in the Bancho area where the site is located. The topography included valleys through which small rivers flowed in a hilly area. In this undulating topography, a split-level building was developed 3-dimensionally, planned so that the people working there can naturally find their place in the single long space.In the site environment, which is enclosed by high-rise buildings, a comfortable work environment has been achieved by setting openings in the gaps to the nearby buildings, so that natural light and ventilation are provided. The façade of Galvalume steel sheets that have been slightly rounded sheet by sheet reproduces the changes in time and weather with a gentle expression.In the present circumstances when diverse working methods are spreading, the aim was to maximize the comfort, convenience, and productivity of working together.
