Abura in Fukuoka. The topography, trees, small streams and other elements of the hilly environment at the site were visualized through 3D surveying to optimize the building placement and shape. The facility receives the benefits of the abundant natural environment by means of a simple column and beam skeleton using conventional frame construction and a seamlessly sloping roof that frames the landscape. The result is a “forest platform” for conversation and learning that will improve both trainee’s sensibilities and the synergy between Group companies, leading to creative activities.
