Works内部空間においては、来訪者だけでなく、従業員にとっても、外部とのつながりを感じられる広がりのある空間とした。1階の来客空間は庭園を取り囲むように配置し、エントランスホールでは、四季折々の表情を見せる庭園が目の前に広がり、創業時の記憶と未来を紡ぐ。2・3階の執務空間は、周辺建物が立て込んでいるため、外周の開口は絞り、庭園に向けて開きつつ、奥行きのある空間構成とした。通りの喧騒から一歩中に入れば、奥には庭の気配を感じる静謐な空間が広がる。(伊藤 剛)The spacious interior is designed to enable visitors and employees alike to feel the connection with the exterior. The guest reception area on the first floor is placed so as to surround the garden, so visitors in the entrance hall see stretching before them the garden that changes throughout the seasons — linking remembrances of the company's founding with its future. The surrounding area is crowded with buildings, and accordingly the openings on the outer periphery of the work spaces on the second and third floors are focused on the view of the garden, lending depth to the spatial configuration. Visitors who step inside from the hustle and bustle of the street find themselves in a quiet space that senses the presence of the garden in the interior.
