A V-shaped roof was adopted to prevent snow accumulation and snow drop, out of consideration for user convenience and to prevent snow from falling onto neighboring residences. The symbolic roof shape is the result of a consideration of angles that provide views of the mountains and simulations that take into account snow cornices and blowing snow. Beneath this roof will be fostered a new community aimed at extending activities up to the riverbank. A snow melting plan that facilitates approach even during snowfall ensures an environment where people can live safely and securely, and the air conditioning system with embedded natural ventilation provides comfort throughout the year.
