A condition of the project was that the headquarters would continue to operate during construction at the site. The original building facing the main street was downsized and the existing skeletons on the above-ground and below-ground floors were used, making it possible to achieve a parking area that admits natural lighting below ground and an open space above-ground that is open to the community. In addition to reducing CO2 emissions and the use of resources, the reconstruction created a void in the landscape of continuous buildings facing the main street, resulting in a landscape that links the bank with the community.
