The square is located at the end of the underground passageway that leads from Sapporo Station, and a terrace-like "waiting area" has been placed at the entrance that leads to the Susukino subway station. Tables and chairs that are open to use by anyone have been provided in the indoor and outdoor public square on the third floor, with the aim of creating a space that people can use on a daily basis. Large sliding doors enable the space to be used for special events as well. The result is a three-dimensional public square facing the intersection in which the interior and exterior are integrated.
