The new aquarium is divided into three pavilions distributed throughout the park, based on the nature of the exhibits, with spectator seating and exhibit spaces that open wide to Suma Beach. An active effort was made to incorporate the surrounding ocean, pine trees and other abundant natural landscape into the facility, to enable visitors to rediscover the beauty of the beach park as they tour the exhibits. The roof emulates the symbolic triangular roof of the former Suma Seaside Park in a dynamic shape that evokes marine life.
