This project began by submitting an application for a “special area” designation to relax building regulations and the application was accepted in only six months (this is exceptionally fast) in cooperation with the customer. Before construction began, the customer was advised of the design process so that the design process could take their business plan into account and a consensus was thereby reached in a timely manner. At the same time, the design included a highly accurate production plan that reflected the production information such as construction techniques. After the construction began, functions and quality were guaranteed by Takenaka’s skills in technological development and engineering while ensuring the optimum construction period based on the construction plan that took environmental and safety issues into consideration. Our design and construction departments advanced the project by contacting each other at every stage from the beginning of the design phase to completion.
