Sky Perfect Tokyo Media Center
Tokyo 2008This new media center has been constructed in Koto Ward, Tokyo. The satellite antenna dishes transmit program data for over 300 channels to satellites. The building has been designed to be able to continue broadcasting service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, even in the event of disaster, by doubling the base isolation system and infrastructure. With a five-level atrium, the inside is divided into a "things zone" and a "people zone." The satellite antenna dishes and the scenery of the canals can be seen from inside the atrium space, which is overflowing with amenities such as natural lighting, natural ventilation, and plants, providing a comfortable time and space for the employees and visitors.
