NiCeRa Technical Center

Tottori 2007

This was a moving plan along with the consolidation of the production facilities for this ceramic materials and sensor manufacturer. The facility consists of the main building with the head office functions, the production building with the production lines and amenity functions, a smaller building, and a corridor which connects these three buildings. With concrete panels and vertical multiple windows, the eight-floor main building gives the expression of the image of the symbol for a sensor, as well as the corporate aspiration for growth. The production building is composed of the substrate surface of zinc-plated angular wave-shaped aluminum alloy plates, expressing a metallic industrial product image. The air current, heat environment and light environment for the office space and inside the clean room were designed based on simulations, and this enabled the optimal layout of the machinery and equipment.
