As the social and economic landscape has changed remarkably in recent years, including rapid technological innovation in digital fields, what today's world requires is an ability to produce new value.
As an integrated engineering firm for urban creation, we will enhance our ability to create new value in order to confront social issues and satisfy all the needs of our customers.
Here are some of the technologies we are currently focusing on from our wide range of research areas.
In order to meet the diverse needs of our customers. we are promoting “Open Innovation," which actively utilizes external technologies and know-how.
Giken Watch is a faithful reproduction of the research and experiment buildings of the institute in 3D model form. By using a mouse, the user can view the space in 360 degrees for a realistic virtual experience. This technology is based on Takenaka Corporation’s architectural presentation system Vruno®.
Mandala is a system that allows the user to search and visualize information on underlying technologies, the “creations,” and researchers, the “creators” at the Takenaka Research & Development Institute.
In the preview version, it is possible to access the technology overview from the entrances of the technology field, building type, and SDGs.
In the premium version, you can gain further insights into the background and connections of the technology through visualization that includes researchers. (Available at the Institute's exhibition room.)
