Originally founded by Takenaka Corporation as an advanced vocational training school, Asahi Build celebrated its 53rd anniversary in 2023. As a Takenaka Group member, the company specializes in formwork and rebar work as well as staffing services. Asahi Build is a group of framework construction professionals where veterans with extensive experience work together with younger skilled workers. In recent years, it has taken on the challenge of creating a wide variety of works by combining the skills of experienced tradesmen with IT technology. Amid current labor shortages, moreover, its temporary staffing business dispatches skilled construction workers to work sites and internal departments of Takenaka Corporation to improve productivity and ensure quality.

In addition to conventional joinery work, it has recently begun to take on complete interior work projects in an effort to meet customer needs in terms of both works and services. TAK-QS Corporation
Contributing to the creation of good quality social assets through highly reliable and fair quantity estimation
TAK-QS, which is the group company in charge of quantity estimation for Takenaka Corporation, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. It is mainly charged with estimation work for finishings, building frames, steel frames, and M&E by Takenaka's Estimate Department. Offices are spread across Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in line with Takenaka’s wide-area operational system, and some 100 employees continue to provide high quality and speedy quantity estimation under the corporate motto, “Hai Quality, Hai Speed!.” The company is currently improving its quantity estimation efficiency by coordinating such data with BIMbased designs so that it can achieve the advancements required of construction quantity estimates. Addressing quantity estimation needs in every stage of construction projects, TAK-QS will expand its area of business and help to improve the efficiency and productivity of groupwide operations.

Securing and developing stable human resources
TAK Engineering’s core businesses are temporary staffing, external human resources management, outsourcing, and recruitment. While fully utilizing the Takenaka Group’s network, it aims to find the best match between people and companies. In addition to dispatching personnel to group companies, TAK Engineering works with over 300 staffing agencies to secure personnel who meet customer needs in a timely manner. In order to support utilization of foreign skilled workers, it has also recently been providing a mixture of online training in construction drawings, and specialty training at the Takenaka Practical Technology Training Center Omoi. The company will continue its efforts to provide knowledgeable and skilled human resources to meet the challenges presented by the construction industry's chronic labor shortage, overtime caps, and improving work-life balance. Meanwhile, TAK Engineering will endeavor to create workplaces where people can share in the joy of making things with their own hands as well as contribute to society.
