The tower building was constructed while the existing Kintetsu department store and Kintetsu railroad station were both in operation. It was important to carry out construction in a manner that did not cause inconvenience or adversely impact the operation and activities of these sites and not interrupt traffic in the neighboring areas.
To construct the tower building, the train station’s platform was first extended 30 meters to the east. Then, the concourse located in the department store’s old building was moved to the east side and demolition of the old building began. As the construction proceeded, the traffic lines were repeatedly changed while ensuring access for the railway and department store’s customers.
