Self-propelled inking robot

This is a system that can automatically draw lines, symbols, and write letters on the floor to accurately set up the materials and equipment when several different workers and builders are working on-site.

We are developing useful robots that will allow many tradespeople to fully exercise their skills and improve their WLB while feeling rewarded.

I am involved in developing a robot that can automate the work of marking out floor plans. We envision a future in which robots can do this work on construction sites the night before so that workers can immediately begin setting up equipment the next morning.

I come from an electronics manufacturing background, so some aspects of building construction were new to me, but thanks to the help of those around me, I was able to be involved with the inking robot’s development right up to its launch.
